Ellis Meng was elected to the Biomedical Engineering Society Class of 2017 Fellows for demonstrating exceptional achievement and experience in the field of biomedical engineering.

In addition, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Committee of Past Presidents conferred the Fellow grade of membership to Meng in recognition of her outstanding achievements in engineering.
