The Partnership

USC Viterbi School of Engineering and Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), has established a partnership to pursue collaborative research, faculty and student exchange, and engage in educational collaboration. This being a selective school, BJTU will identify and recommend PhD students to study at USC.

The USC Viterbi will admit qualified students from BJTU to its various Masters of Science (M.S.) degree programs under the China Viterbi Integrated Program (hereinafter referred to as ijSG-BJTU VIP). Each year, based on USC Viterbi's admission requirements, BJTU selects up to twenty (20) undergraduate students who are expected to complete B.S-degrees from various engineering majors within a year to study at USC Viterbi for M.S. degrees. USC Viterbi shall, in its sole discretion, make the final decision on admission of each student to USC Viterbi's M.S. programs. Each student's successful completion of the USC Viterbi M.S. program will lead to a Master's Degree from USC Viterbi.
