International Academy of Astronautics (IAA)

The International Academy of Astronautics aims to foster the development of astronautics for peaceful purposes, recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves in space science of technology, provide a program through which members may contribute to international endeavors and promote cooperation in the advancement of aerospace science. This is the only international Academy of elected members in the broad area of astronautics and space. Current members include the leaders and key managers in all space agencies and space industries, leading space engineers and scientists, prominent space lawyers and outstanding individuals at the interface of space and society.
