International Research Collaborations

USC Viterbi School of Engineering has been selected as a key partner in a series of international research collaborations and academic partnerships funded by key industry leaders, including General Electric and Korean Air.

These partnerships are based on cross organization coordination among the participating universities, through collaborative research and mutual partnerships.

Integrated BS/MS program

The Viterbi School of Engineering, in association with SJTU and UM has established an integrated BS/MS program in which third year undergraduate students can begin pursuing a Masters degree with extra credits that can satisfy undergraduate degree requirements.

Research projects:

Korean Air General Electric Research Institute for International Collaboration (KAGERIIC)
The jointly-funded Korean Air General Electric research institute has selected Viterbi School as an academic partner - alongside Korean Aerospace University and Inha University - to conduct research sponsored by the two companies.

USC Viterbi School is partnering with Korea-based Inha University in conducting research funded by Pratt & Withney Institute and Korean Air.

USC Viterbi School teamed up with Korean Aerospace University and Inha University in a partnership collaboration funded by Airbus and Korean Air.

Research Partnerships

USC Viterbi School of Engineering has established several strategic educational and research collaborations with Chinese universities, which entail a broad spectrum of collaborations with the partner insitutions, including student exchange, as well as joint academic research programs.
