Joseph Gutheinz (1984) Joe Gutheinz MS '84 (ISE) began his studies towards a PhD in Criminal Justice from Liberty University in 1993 while serving as the general partner of his own law firm. Alfred Qoyawayma (1966) On June 15, 2013 Alfred H. (Colton) Qoyawayma received an Honorary Doctor of Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. In 2010 he was selected as an American Artist for Smithsonian's permanent Archives of American Art.
