  • NSF-BSF oppurtunities

Joint NSF-BSF funding programs in a large number of fields have either been announced, or are expected to be announced soon (see the list below). Almost all of these programs are open to international cooperation only with Israelis. Please note that contrary to the common belief in Israel that NSF has a universally low success rate, the short experience we have suggests that the success rate of collaborative proposals with an Israeli component is highly variable, between 10-35%. We highly recommend that interested Israeli PIs contact our office before contacting a potential US partner, for possibly useful tips. Presently active programs: Physics – an annual program with a number of submission deadlines starting early November 2015. Oceanography – a semiannual program, with the next submission deadline on August 20, 2015. Psychology – an annual program with a number of submission deadlines starting July 2015 Economics – an annual program with the next submission deadline on August 23, 2015.
