Brian Nielsen (2008)
Brian Alan Nielsen, '08 (ISSM), his and wife Ginger, both welcomed a baby girl, Brooklyn Christine. She joins sisters Madelyn, Rosalyn, and Ashlyn.
Robert Schmidt (2000)
Robert Knecht Schmidt '00 (ENG), MS '01 (ENG) and his wife Fei Li, welcomed a son, Lucas William.

Mario Didonna (2011)
Mario Didonna, '11 (ENG) is married to Rosaly Consolacion.
Leslie Koehn Haughom (2011)
Leslie Koehn, ’11 (BSME) and Matthew Haughom, ’07 (BS CSCE), were married on July 22nd, 2017 at Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Colorado surrounded by friends (many of them Trojans) and family. Koehn and Haughom met at Mammoth Mountain while skiing with friends from USC.

Alexia Nalewaik (1994)
Alexia Nalewaik, MS ‘94 (CE) has published her second book, ‘Project Cost Recording and Reporting.’ Project reports are a preferred method of communicating with internal or external audiences, and they are also part of the system of control and governance on projects, used to bring attention to issues and prompt action to improve project outcomes.
Susan Martin (2004)
Sarah Martin, ’04 (BME) has joined HealthCorps as the Senior Director of Programs -- a national not for profit founded by Dr. Mehmet Oz in 2003. HealthCorps delivers health education and physical education programming in high need high schools across the country.

Catching Up
Edwin Siswanto (1996)
Edwin Siswanto, ’96 MBAMS (ISE) and his wife Anne, celebrated their daughter Kathleen’s acceptance into the University of Chicago MBA Booth Business School. Kathleen is a USC alum, and has been part of the Advisory Board at the University of South Florida Financial Technologies (USF FinTech) Program and Citigroup Investment Banking in San Francisco.
Abdulhafie (Ed) Elhaderi (1982)
Abdulhafie (Ed) Elhaderi, Ph.D. '82 (ENG), is the author of "Nomadic Soul", a memoir in which he recalls his journey from his tiny and isolated village in the Libyan Sahara to America.

John Schwartz III (2018)
John (Trey) Schwartz III, 18 (ENG) and Serena Zheng, 18 (LAS), received their white coats in September at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
Avery McEvoy (2017)   Avery McEvoy, '17 BSCEE, is currently pursuing a master's degree in Atmosphere/Energy at Stanford University. She is expected to graduate in March of 2019.

Fred R. Thomas (1964)
Fred R. Thomas, MS ‘64 (EE) of Irvine, California passed away on April 3, 2019, at the age of 84.
John J. Vranich (1991)
John J. Vranich, MS ’91 EE, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on May 17, 2019. Beloved husband of Heidi Simpson-Vranich and loving father of Caleb Vranich. John is the son of Dorothy C.
